Who We Are

OUR HISTORY

Entiat Warehouse Community Church was born back in 1978 by four couples with a strong desire to reach the Entiat Valley for Jesus Christ.

As a community church, there is room for a rich mix of church backgrounds, always united in the centrality of Jesus as Lord and His Word as our guide. It is our passion to see Him lifted up and His message to a lost world proclaimed in the power of the Holy Spirit.

When we reached capacity in our old church building located next to City Hall in downtown Entiat, we literally had no place to relocate. Under the leadership of Pastor Merv and Georgia Peterson and the church elders board, the church sought a larger location to worship. Then God miraculously provided an old historic fruit warehouse located on nearly three acres right on Highway 97A, midway between Wenatchee and Chelan. Through prayer, giving, and lots of hard work, the facility was converted into a beautiful worship center. In addition our space has provided rooms for a kitchen, large foyer, office space, classrooms, and activity center. We believe God has given us a 'Tabernacle of Praise', and we continue to move forward in the vision He has given to share His message of hope and freedom!

We are committed to fulfilling the Great Commandment Jesus Christ gave to love God and love each other
(Mark 12:30-31), and His Great Commission to train Christian disciples (Matthew 28:19-20). We exists to
facilitate Worship, Discipleship, Fellowship, and Outreach to our local community and our world.

At Warehouse Community Church we encourage you to come as you are. You can dress casual if you like, and enjoy a cup of coffee before service. Here you will experience a relaxed environment with contemporary praise and worship, friendly people, and a relevant message from God's Word that will apply to your everyday life. We view our church fellowship as a family, and invite you to be a part!
