"And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and

some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the

equipping of the saints, for the work of service, to the building up

of the body of Christ..."  Ephesians 4:11-12

Associate of Youth Ministry - Yuka and David Sanford

Dave and Yuka met and married in Japan while Dave was serving with the U.S. Marine Corp. Upon completion of Dave's military service, Yuka moved with her husband to Entiat, learned English, and quickly established herself as a young mom with a passion to reach youth and
model Jesus Christ for them. Now, as parents of five children ranging in age from elementary to teenagers, they are very involved in school activities.

The Sanfords are active in the community as volunteers in the Junior High/High School academic and athletic programs. They have developed an exciting youth ministry program to meet the needs of young people through weekly youth services, special activities, and community outreach events. Through networking with other youth groups, young people in our area are motivated in knowing that they are not alone in their desire to live as true followers of Jesus Christ. Dave and Yuka invest time and energy in establishing relationships both on and off the school campus.
